Sales Contract and Health
Guarantee
In agreement between Turner's Schnauzers, hereafter referred to as the “Seller”, being the owner
of a companion pet quality Miniature Schnauzer puppy further described as:

Name and AKC# of Dam:_________________________________
And, _____________________________, hereafter referred to as the “Buyer”, desirous of purchasing
the above described puppy.
The Buyer shall pay a purchase price of ________, as well as any and all shipping charges and related expenses
with regard to the delivery of the puppy to the Buyer. The Seller hereby conveys one companion pet quality Miniature Schnauzer
(sex_________) puppy under the following warranties and conditions and no other warranties or conditions wither expressed
or implied.
1. The above-described puppy is purebred, and registerable with the AKC (American Kennel Club) a registration
application, has been given to, or will be mailed to the Buyer within 10 days of receipt of the puppy and final payment on
the puppy.
2. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, anatomical make-up, and appearance of the above-described
puppy during the first 72 hour period. If the condition of the puppy has changed in any of the categories mentioned in
the previous sentence, the seller is relieved of obligation to replace the puppy, no refund of purchase price will
be given, Any claim of change in the puppy by the seller must be communicated to the Buyer within 72 hours.
3. The Buyer shall provide the dog with adequate food, fresh water, shelter, affection, love and medical care,
including all necessary shots and medication recommended by a licensed veterinarian.
4. The Buyer shall provide veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury and shall take the dog to a veterinarian
at least once a year for an annual health examination and necessary vaccinations.
5. The Buyer shall provide the dog with a fully fenced yard or other humane means of exercise. The dog shall
not be kept constantly chained or outdoors.
6. The Buyer shall provide a collar and identification tag/microchip for the dog to wear at all times.
7. If the dog cannot be kept by the Buyer, the Buyer shall notify the Seller immediately. The dog shall not be
sold, transferred, or given to any individual or to any retail or wholesale establishment for the purpose of sale or resale
to the public, not to any research institution where medical experimentation or other practices take place.
8. This puppy is guaranteed for one year against life threatening congenital defects. Should a documented life
threatening congenital (born-with) defect arise within the puppy’s first year of life that limits the puppy’s
ability to function as a companion pet or results in the death of the puppy; the puppy will be replaced free of charge from
the next litter. This is a replacement ONLY policy. No refunds will be given.
9.This guarantee does not include Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and
usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery
is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening.
10.No guarantee is given for any kind of worm (hookworm, roundworm, whipworm or tapeworm), coccidiosis, or giardia.
These parasites are all too common to pups. Your puppy has been wormed frequently from two weeks of age until your possession.
It is your responsibility to continue to worm your puppy and check for parasites. No guarantee is given for hypoglycemia (low
blood sugar). This condition is not hereditary and is very preventable.
11. The Buyer and Seller agree to keep each other informed of their current addresses.
12. It is noted that the puppy has received (see vaccination record). In addition to these vaccinations, the
puppy has been dewormed at all time suggested by our veterinarian. It is further required by the Seller that the Buyer have
the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt of the puppy to guarantee it’s future health
and well being.
13.We do not guarantee or warranty the size of any puppy, or that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the
puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials
14. I recommend taking the puppy home on a weekend, especially if buyer works thtough the week. This gives the
new puppy a chance to get used to his/her new family and surrounding, without starting out at home alone.
